Love Thy Neighbor (formerly Love in the Name of Christ) is a faith-based initiative in Monmouth County, NJ with a mission to mobilize the Church to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ.

A special note during these difficult times from the Executive Director

Dear Friends, as you may know, I am the Executive Director of Love Thy Neighbor, a 501(c)(3) non-profit ministry.  We are in Crisis Mode when it comes to affordable housing in Monmouth County. We had in 2023, 518 requests for housing assistance in an emergency and we see that their income can support it. When it comes to new housing unfortunately there are no good answers.

As a Community Clearinghouse we screen and validate all of the needs as well as maintain a database of the county, state, and federal assistance programs. Thank you for praying for us! There can be no greater help than that.
