Success Story - A Good Night's Sleep |
The Clearinghouse volunteer gently draws Sheila out and explores the cause for her request. He soon determines that she is an invalid with very meager means. Her visiting nurse has told her that she really needs a hospital bed.
Sheila went on to tell our volunteer that she asked Jesus for one of those "up-and-down beds" and that he told her to call us. With a need like this and with the faith to match Sheila's, the Clearinghouse immediately went to work.
Within the hour, an electric bed was donated by the First Assembly of God Church in Shrewsbury, and two volunteers from the First Presbyterian Church of Red Bank were located. Our Furnished with Love truck crew transported the bed to Sheila's home. Today Sheila is getting a good night's sleep, thanks to the Lord and his people.
