Success Story - Linda's Story |
My life changed suddenly when my daughter, husband, and I were living in a motel with no place to go. My husband refused to work, so I took on two jobs. Eventually I was able to afford an apartment for my family. Later I separated from my abusive husband but still maintained two manager jobs. Then both businesses closed due to economic hardship, and I became unemployed.
Being down and out due to my job loss, abusive past, and an unusable broken car, I went to Love INC for rental assistance. I was also able to receive a donated car from the Wheels Appeal program. Having a reliable car has raised my self-esteem and given me a sense of great achievement.
