Love INC Clearinghouse
Love INC screens and validates the needs called into the Clearinghouse from church referrals. This helps to end duplication of services and helps the churches work together in meeting crisis needs in Monmouth County. With the cost of living so high in our county, working together to meet a need that has been validated can allow the churches to be good stewards of their finances as well as Good Samaritans. The Love INC Clearinghouse also acts as a referral source to put people in touch with agencies that may also meet their needs.
In 2010, $39,045 was given for utilities, rent,and shelter to individuals and families in need. Also, clients were referred to food pantries to receive $2,380 worth of groceries.
